Karbonn has launched two new smartphones, called Fashion Eye and Fashion Eye 2.0. Both devices are preloaded with ‘fashion app’ that lets users search for an outfit by clicking its picture.

Karbonn has today launched two new smartphones, called Fashion Eye and Fashion Eye 2.0. The talking point of this new range of smartphones is the AI-enabled fashion search feature, which has been introduced in partnership with Staqu. The Karbonn Fashion Eye and Fashion Eye 2.0 smartphones are priced at Rs 5,490 and Rs 6,490 respectively.
Karbonn’s new smartphones are preloaded with a ‘fashion app’ that lets users search for an outfit by clicking its picture. The AI is designed in such a way that the app will automatically recognize the print, patterns and colors of the outfit to give results accordingly. Users can also compare product prices and pick up the best deals. Staqu, the company behind the AI, has an estimated 20,000 users on the app.

Karbonn Fashion Eye specifications
The Karbonn Fashion features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB of onboard storage. The smartphone also sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 2,000mAh battery and connectivity options like 3G support, Bluetooth, GPS, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi.
At this price point, the Karbonn Fashion will face competition from the likes of Lava P7,Micromax Canvas Spark 3 3G, and Reliance Digital LYF Flame 1 to name a few.
Karbonn Fashion Eye 2.0 specifications
The Karbonn Fashion Eye 2.0 comes with similar specs as the Fashion Eye, with the only difference on the memory front. Where the Fashion Eye comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB onboard storage, the Fashion Eye 2.0 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
